ORION CMX Self-Supporting AEM Membranes

ORION has surpassed its own previously commercially available AM membrane’s performance with its Next Gen CMX. CMX can withstand high temperature while maintaining conductivity and ion exchange capacity but can also take high pressure differentials and repeated cycling to zero and back. In industrial labs ORION CMX has been shown to be the ONLY AEM membrane to withstand cycling and pressure and maintain performance.
See the NREL ECS #92 (8) blind study on this website for ORION’s highest performing membrane results from Meek et al. Now ORION has surpassed those with CMX.
Orion CMX is NOT an EPA PFSA containing product. Nothing in the Orion production process is an EPA PFSA listed chemical either.
Orion is not produced on an ePTFE support either.
Orion CMX can be used for AEM or for HT-PEM by using a different pre-treatment.
Orion CMX is far easier to use than other AEM and is shipped dry on a backing.
